If You Hate Having Your Photo Taken, You're in the Right Place
Most people who come to us say the same thing: they feel awkward in photos, they never know what to do, and they usually dislike how they look. That's exactly why our process is built differently.

You're Not Bad at Photos
A lot of people assume they're the problem.
They think they're not photogenic. That they always look awkward. That they never know what expression to make. That they're just not comfortable on camera.
In reality, most people have just never been guided well.
A good headshot session is not about forcing you into a version of yourself that feels polished but fake. It's about helping you relax, giving you clear direction, and capturing an image that actually feels like you.
This Isn't the Usual Headshot Experience
Guided the Whole Time
You will not be left wondering what to do with your face, posture, or hands. We guide you through the entire process.
Natural, Not Overdone
The goal is a polished image that still looks like you. Not stiff. Not overly edited. Not forced.
Built for Real People
This experience is designed for professionals who do not love being photographed, not just people who are already comfortable in front of a camera.
Confidence You Can Use
You leave with images you will actually feel good putting on LinkedIn, your website, speaking materials, and more.
The Goal Is Not Just a Better Photo
It's feeling good about how you show up.
Your headshot is often the first impression people get before they ever meet you. It should look polished, approachable, and believable.
Not a photo you tolerate.
A photo you feel confident using.

Common Questions
I really hate having my photo taken. Will this still work for me?
Yes — this is the exact audience the experience is built for. Most clients tell me they feel awkward in photos, never know what to do with their hands, and usually dislike how they look. The process is guided the whole way: clear direction on posture, expression, and pacing, plus a tethered laptop so you see each frame in real time and approve the keepers before we wrap. The point isn't to make you a model; it's to capture a real version of you that you'll actually use.
Do I need to know how to pose before the session?
No. Knowing how to pose is my job, not yours. You'll get specific direction throughout the session — small adjustments to chin angle, shoulder position, where to look, and what expression to hold. You don't need to prepare anything posing-related in advance.
Will the photos look natural, or like a stiff corporate headshot?
Natural. The whole reason the process exists is that traditional headshot photography tends to produce stiff, over-posed images that don't look like the person in real life. The goal here is a polished image that still reads as you — relaxed expression, clean light, no over-smoothing in retouch.
What if I get nervous and freeze up during the shoot?
Most people do, especially in the first few minutes. The session is structured around that — we start slow, talk through what we're going for, and the first 10 minutes are about getting comfortable, not about producing keepers. By the middle of the session most clients have forgotten the camera is there. If you're really stuck, we pause, reset, and try a different approach until something clicks.
How long is the session, and what should I bring?
An individual session runs about 30 to 45 minutes for the shoot itself. Bring 2-3 outfit options (solid colors generally photograph best) and come with hair and grooming the way you'd want them on a normal workday — light retouching handles everything else. You'll see and approve the keepers before you leave; retouched files are delivered within a few days, same-day if you're on a deadline.
We Make This Easier Than You Think
You do not need to know how to pose. You do not need to feel naturally comfortable on camera. You don't need to worry about hair and makeup. You just need the right process.
